Pantai Pacitan

Pacitan Beach is located in East Java, Indonesia, about four hours from SOLO, Central Java by car / bus.
At the time we're off dutty, together with some friends we went to Pacitan Beach. Passing through several small towns including through Wonogiri with winding and climbing we finally reach the coast of Pacitan. Woow...been a long journey..but such an amazing adventure..and we can see the lime stone mountain, Water Dam Gajah Mungkur and teak forrest (as you know, teak is the most expensive wood in Indonesia cuz anti termite, anti porous and the fiber of the wood is very beautiful ).
Although the coast is consider still 'virgin' but lots of tourists come and enjoy the beauty of the coast...The water is crystal clear...and the white sand beaches surrounding so we could swim and play with the sand. There are many type of shells and the fisherman usually make those shells as pretty accessories (bracelet, necklace) or other handycraft...so exotic.
Pacitan Beach is still in the link with Parangtritis Beach in Yogya and Kuta Beach in Bali, you can imagine how big the waves hit succesive legs...Hot air tend to warm..and suddenly we realize that we got sunburn. Along the beach they provided the beach buggy..called Dokar ! Traditional vehicles drawn by horses, In Majapahit era (the ancient kingdom in Java) they used Dokar to transport goods and passengers. Because there's no gasoline at that time....
In Pacitan Beach area there is a famous cave called GUA GONG (Gong Cave), a cave is located below ground so when we walk in to the cave we still feel the droplets of stalagmite along the cave, it's a quite bit darker inside the cave and there's the moss carpet adorn several large rocks, we need to use flashlight...a bit of horror but not so bad, and inside the cave there are lot of stalagmite and stalagtite..what a spectacular scenery.
Throughout the cave there's a bridge that can make easier for adventurous visitor..and there's a guard that can be a cave guide, we don't have to worry about getting lost...but there is area that not allowed for visitors...it's a place for 'meditation'..usually silly people ask something ridiculous like how to get rich and how to get the destiny quickly...well people, people, people!!
